When staying at the motel make sure you take advantage of at least one dip a day to help ease away your stress and assist in blood flow to ease aches and pains.
A short walk up the road you will see some steam rising (just before the Mobil Petrol station). Grab a coffee and wander along the lakefront and enjoy a wee bit of heaven. Beach towels are available so make sure you grab a couple.

What a wonderful motel with a great view, right on the lake, and even though the views are from the side balcony, we found it a beautiful place to sit outside with a wine and watch the sun set. Beautiful large clean room with a lovely comfy bed. Shower had great pressure and the towels were so thick and fluffy! Everything here for a great stay. Very friendly and most helpful hosts who offered great recommendations for things to do and for somewhere for dinner nearby (even rang and made our booking for us). Parking was good and internet worked well. Would definitely stay here again.
We are return guests. Every time we go back, we are warmly welcomed. Again our rooms were immaculate. They are beautifully furnished and excellently presented. It feels like you are the first people to stay in them. The cleaning crew restored our rooms to their original gleaming condition each day and restocked the biscuits. Little treats like this are really appreciated. This is the perfect spot for an event weekend. 1km walk to town and an excellent spot to watch Ironman.
From the moment we arrived and shown to our room we felt at home. Lovely location great hosts comfortable clean well appointed room. We felt like part of the family and were really sad to leave. Can't wait get much better than that!
Best place to stay in Taupo. Owners went out of their way to accommodate us for a great honeymoon stay. Comfortable bed, and great clean room and facilities. Would definitely go back. Great value. Thank you.
We found this motel to be everything we were after. Had great customer service, very comfortable bed, amazing spa bath and it was roomy enough for us. We easily would have loved to stay for longer and next time we will be sure to stay here!
